{Five Month Tidbits}

13.6lbs

-Is waving her arms up and down and giggles while she does it. with the toy 1st time.

-Found her toes

-Likes to play with my face and have me kiss her hands while holding her or nursing. Also likes playing with my hair.

-Is still nursing every 3-4 hours and takes a bottle while I'm at work. Sometimes I have fed her a bottle at night before bed and she gets so excited when she sees it and will reach up for it.

-She is a wiggle!!! I can't believe how far she can get by just wiggling around! Plus she will do a complete 360.

-Likes to be tickled.

-Ate rice cereal for the first time at 5 months. Then around 5 months 3 weeks, we gave her sweet potatoes. Her first bite was so funny. She took the bite and instantly froze.... than started smacking her lips like crazy wanting another bite! She loved it. She has also had carrots, which she liked too.

-Still a crazy/awesome sleeper!! Sleeps from around 8pm-6:30-7, wakes up and eats and then goes back to bed until around 9ish. Takes 1 good nap a day around 1-2pm and then a cat nap around 5 that's maybe like 20-30mins.

-Adores her sister!!!! She is always watching Sydney and if she can't see her, she's looking everywhere trying to find her.

-Only sister can make her laugh more than we can!

-Is always smiling and happy. She has her moments, but overall is so happy and relax.

-Doesn't really take her pacifier anymore. Doesn't take it at all during the day. Maybe some days if she's too tired and won't nap. Then only at bedtime, but spits it out not long after we lay her down.

-She loves music and when a primary song or kids song is on that I can tell she's listening to, she will "sing" along. It's so cute!!

-Sydney and Hannah now try to be louder than the other, it's quite funny when Hannah gets what Sydney is doing and joins in.

-Everything still goes in her mouth!!

-Her personality is really starting to come out lately. It's so cute and this age is my most favorite part!!

-At 5 months 3 weeks she is starting to be able to sit up by herself for a couple seconds.

-I have had to stop swaddling her at nights. She has somehow learned how to roll over while still swaddled. Scared me the first time I saw it happen. Thank goodness for video monitors. I have went to check on her a few times and found her on her belly. At least she's not swaddled, but it still makes me a little nervous.

-She has become so interested in watching her hand turn from side-to-side. It's rather funny!
